Reconstruction of the Embassy façade completed (05/10/2009)
A small informal event was organised in the British Embassy garden to commemorate the completion of the five month long facade reconstruction project.
This was the first general reconstruction of the building exterior in last 40 years.
Gathering, attended by the staff members past and present, and several long standing Embassy contacts, was formally opened by Her Majesty's Ambassador Stephen Wordsworth and Dr Neil Beningfield, specialist consultant for the project.
