British company presented its lamp recycling machine at EcoFair 09 (15/10/2009)
Nick Groves, Head of Commercial Section of the Embassy participated at the presentation of the CFL-lamp recycling machine organised by the British company Balcan LTD at ECOFAIR 09.
The machine, that has won prestigious Queen’s Award in 2006, is the first of a kind that has been presented in Serbia. Balcan lamp recycling & lamp crushing systems are using 50% less power than other currently available systems.
Bojan Djuric, State Secretary at the Serbian ministry of Environmental Protection, who also participated at the presentation, stated that one third of laws to be adopted in the Serbian Parliament are in the area of environmental protection. Alistair Rinfret, Operations Director at Balcan LTD participated at the event hosted by BiS IT Recycling Centre.
