What we do

Communications and Bilateral Affairs Section is the “public face" of the British Embassy in Belgrade.We are here to promote modern Britain and to increase knowledge in Serbia of the United Kingdom and British policies.

Our activities include communication with the media, building and maintaining contacts in the social and academic spheres. We also devote much of our time to providing information about Britain. This can take the form of answering enquiries from the general public, talking to schoolchildren and university students, organising public events or supplying TV stations with broadcast material. We are also responsible for the Embassy project work and maintenance of the Embassy website.

Press Officer

The Press Officer is the main media contact point in the Embassy. She takes requests for interviews with the Embassy staff, organises press conferences of incoming visitors and is tasked with maintaining and promoting contacts between the local and international media and the Embassy.You can contact our Press Officer,  Ms Vesna Petkovic, on +381 11 3061 095 or by e-mail.
