Chevening Serbia
The British Embassy offers scholarship awards to post-graduate students or young professionals to study in the United Kingdom every academic year. The scholarships are for studies at post-graduate level. Awards are normally for a period of one academic year, but may also be given for shorter, vocationally oriented courses of not less than three months or, in special cases, for courses of over one year.
One of the main aims of the scheme is to assist successful candidates in playing leading roles in the future of their country.
Applicants will normally be selected from those who have an academic or a professional background in political science, economics, finance, media, management, human rights, international relations, public administration or law. Selection of candidates is carried out jointly by the British Embassy and the British Council.
